Troubleshooting
Quick Checks
These checks solve most setup and schedule issues.
- No order views appear
- Check the selected location, then click Refresh Linnworks Data. Also confirm the order view owner is visible in Settings.
- A schedule did not run
- Check it is enabled, has the correct day/time, and uses the expected timezone. Scheduled runs have a short safety window of up to two minutes.
- No pickwave was created
- Open Run History and check for parked, locked/problem or insufficient stock orders.
- User is missing
- Confirm the user exists in Linnworks for the selected location and is visible under Pickwave Allocation Users in Settings.
- Identifiers are missing
- Refresh Linnworks Data. If they still do not appear, confirm the identifiers exist in Linnworks Picking settings.
- Orders are skipped
- Pickwave Pro skips orders Linnworks reports as parked, locked/problem or insufficient stock.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Should I create a dedicated Linnworks user?
Yes. We recommend using a dedicated user such as pickwavepro@yourdomain.com so automation activity is easy to identify and access can be managed separately from staff accounts.
Does Pickwave Pro filter orders?
Your Linnworks Open Orders views do the filtering. Pickwave Pro uses those views to decide which orders should be pickwaved.
Can one schedule run multiple views?
Yes. Add multiple pickwave lines to one schedule. Each line can use different identifiers, limits and assignment rules.
What happens to parked or locked orders?
They are skipped and shown in Run History. Linnworks will not allow those orders to be pickwaved.
What about insufficient stock?
Orders Linnworks reports as not fully allocated or insufficient stock are skipped and shown separately in Run History.
Can I test a schedule manually?
Yes. Use Run Now on a saved schedule to test the exact same lines, limits, identifiers and assignment settings.
